01. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to quotations, orders and contracts for custom packaging products supplied by custom packaging wholesale. They should be read together with the quotation, approved specification, artwork proof and any written terms agreed for a particular order.

By approving a quotation, paying an invoice or instructing us to proceed, you confirm that you have authority to place the order and accept these terms.

02. Quotations and orders

Each quotation is prepared using the information available at the time, including box style, dimensions, quantity, material, print coverage, finishes, delivery requirements and artwork status. Unless the quotation states otherwise, it is an invitation to place an order and is not a binding commitment to manufacture.

• An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing or begin approved production.
• Changes to the specification may require a revised price and lead time.
• Any quotation validity period shown on the quotation will apply.

03. Prices and payment

Prices are based on the agreed packaging specification and order quantity. VAT, carriage, specialist tooling, plates, samples or other charges will be identified on the quotation where applicable. Payment must be made in the currency, amount and timeframe stated on the invoice.

We may pause artwork, material purchasing, production or dispatch while an overdue amount remains unpaid. Ownership of supplied goods does not pass to the customer until all amounts due for those goods have been received, while risk may pass on delivery in accordance with the agreed delivery terms.

04. Artwork and proof approval

Production normally begins only after the final artwork proof and packaging specification have been approved. The customer is responsible for checking all visible and technical details before approval, including:

• Spelling, contact details, barcodes and regulatory information.
• Dimensions, orientation, panel position and dieline placement.
• Colours, images, logos, print finishes and version numbers.
• The suitability and accuracy of all customer-supplied artwork.

Screen and PDF proofs are guides to content and positioning. Because screens, printing processes and packaging materials reproduce colour differently, they should not be treated as exact physical colour samples unless a specific colour standard or printed proof has been agreed in writing.

05. Materials and manufacturing tolerances

Paperboard, corrugated board and other packaging materials can vary naturally between batches. Reasonable trade tolerances may apply to colour, board shade, texture, dimensions, cutting, creasing, registration, finishing and delivered quantity. Requirements that need a specific tolerance must be agreed in writing before the order is confirmed.

Material guidance is based on the product and intended use described by the customer. The customer remains responsible for confirming that the completed packaging is suitable for its product, packing process, storage conditions, transport route and applicable legal or industry requirements.

06. Production and delivery

Estimated production times begin when all required information, approved artwork and cleared payment have been received. Lead times are estimates unless a delivery date has been expressly guaranteed in writing.

• The customer must provide a complete and accessible delivery address.
• Delivery may take place in more than one consignment where appropriate.
• Delays caused by carriers, customs, severe weather or events outside reasonable control may affect the estimated date.

07. Changes and cancellations

Requests to change or cancel an order must be made in writing as soon as possible. Custom packaging is manufactured to order, so a change or cancellation may not be possible after artwork, tooling, material purchasing or production has started. The customer may be responsible for reasonable costs already incurred for the order.

08. Inspection, damage and claims

Deliveries should be inspected promptly. If packaging is damaged, short or appears not to match the approved specification, please contact us without unreasonable delay and retain the affected goods and outer packaging for review.

A claim should include the order or invoice number, affected quantity, a clear description and photographs showing the issue. Goods should not be used, altered or discarded before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

09. Customer-supplied products and property

Where products, samples, artwork files or other property are supplied for measuring, testing, packing or reference, they remain at the customer's risk unless otherwise agreed. Customers should not provide irreplaceable originals and should keep their own copies of all digital files.

10. Intellectual property

The customer confirms that it has permission to use all names, logos, images, text, trademarks and other content supplied for printing. Unless ownership is transferred in writing, our pre-existing templates, production methods, original design work and technical materials remain our intellectual property.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that requirement, responsibility for any order will be assessed in accordance with the confirmed specification, the circumstances of the claim and applicable law.

We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate customer instructions, approved artwork errors, unsuitable customer-supplied content or use of packaging outside the agreed purpose.

12. Privacy and business information

Personal information submitted during an enquiry or order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with relevant service providers where necessary to prepare, manufacture, deliver or administer the order.

13. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws stated in the applicable quotation or contract. If no governing law is stated there, the governing law and jurisdiction should be confirmed in writing before these terms are published.
